Mungpoo and Dawaipani are two beautiful villages nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling district in West Bengal. Mungpoo charms people with it's lush tea garden, serene monasteries and panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Dawaipani on the other hand is a perfect getaway for nature lovers; as they can find dense forests, glistening streams and tranquil ambience, offering a perfect escape from the daily hustle of the busy city life.
Start your journey from your pickup point such as (TN Bus Stand, Bagdogra Airport, NJP Railway Station). Stop by at any highway hotel for breakfast or snacks. Continue your journey to Mungpoo. Enjoy your trip as you make way through NH10 alongside the Teesta River. You should reach your homestay by noon. Check in at your homestay and have lunch. Rest for a while and visit tourist attractions such as Rabindra Bhawan, Mungpoo Orchid House or Mungpoo Monastery, Cinchona Plantation, Quinine Factory, etc. Return to your homestay by evening.

After breakfast, checkout from the homestay and make way to Dawaipani. Enjoy the scenic view of the Mungpoo hills as you make way via the 3rd Mile route. Upon arriving at Dawaipani, check in at your homestay and have your lunch. Relax at your homestay in the evening with tea and snacks as you enjoy the bonus view of the Himalayan ranges.
Start your day with a good breakfast and make your way to Lamahatta. Visit the famous Lamahatta Eco Park and enjoy the view and the tranquility of the pine forests. Also visit the Lamahatta Lake; a short uphill hike of 20-25 minutes from the park. Stop by for lunch at any one of the restaurants near the park. Visit Gumbadara Viewpoint and enjoy the scenery of the Teesta River flowing in between the hills of Sikkim and Kalimpong. Return to your homestay be evening.
