Description

    Pelling and Gangtok are two historic places with culturual and historical importance. Pelling was the second capital of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The Rabdentse Fort still stands to this day and has become a major tourist attraction over the years. Khechupelri Lake is a religious lake, said to be stepped by Lord Buddha himself, due to the shape of the lake resembling a foot. This town has the closest view of Mount Kanchenjunga and just a few kilometers away from this town is Yuksom, the first capital of Sikkim. Gangtok was the 4th capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim and the current capital of the state of Sikkim. Being a well known hill station, this town pulls over thousands of tourists every year. People are usually attracted to this place due to the weather, scenic landscapes, food or culture and tradition.

  • You will be picked up from your location and make way to Pelling via the NH10 route, alongside the Teesta river. Stop by for breakfast or snack at any one of the highway hotel. Enjoy the view of Teesta river from Teesta Bridge. Stop for lunch at Jorethang (optional). Visit various tourist attractions on the way to Pelling such as Reshi Hotspring, Geyzing Monastery, etc. Check-in the designated homestay by evening. Visit Limbooni Waterfall or take a walk around the nearby village and learn about the local culture and tradition.

  • Day  2 :  - Exploring Pelling

  • Start your day with a belly filling breakfast. Leave for Rabdentse Fort and Pelling Monastery, which is situated right next to the Fort. Stop by for lunch at the main town of Pelling.   • Day  3 :  - Pelling to Gangtok

  • After breakfast, check-out from homestay. Travel to Gangtok via Samdong. Visit Sidkeong Bird Park in Pelling. Stop by for lunch at Ravangla. Visit Buddha Park at Ravangla after lunch. Enjoy your journey as you travel through the rural areas of Sikkim such as Singbel and Samdong while enjoying the scenic route via Singtam-Dikchu road. Visit Tashi View Point, a spot with a breathtaking view of Gangtok. Check-in at homestay.

  • Day  4 :  - Exploring Gangtok

  • Begin your Gangtok tour after breakfast. Visit various well known tourist attractions such as Ban Jhakri Falls, Gangtok Ropeway, Enchey Monastery, Himalayan Zoological Park, Flower Exhibition Center. Stop by for lunch at any restaurant in Gangtok. Enjoy the evening stroll at MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok. Return to homestay by evening.

  • Day  5 :  - Departure

  • Check-out from homestay after breakfast. Start your journey back to your return point. Stop by for lunch at any highway hotel. You will be dropped at your designated location.
